Our deodorant is powered by potassium alum, a naturally occurring mineral formed from bauxite ore. Although the name sounds similar to “aluminum,” it acts only on the surface of the skin, lowering pH to help slow the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
This simple salt has been used across medicine, industry, beauty, and art for centuries because it works—naturally and without harsh additives.

Ayaté Exfoliation
Experience the wonders of agave
Our Ayaté line of exfoliating washcloths and body scrubbers is made from the agave plant. Known as the “tree of wonders,” agave has been cultivated for thousands of years, and is used in countless products. This all-natural cloth requires a labor-intensive process, in which the leaves are cut and cooked, pounded into fibrous strands, and softened beneath rocks for up to a week. The fibers are then scraped and washed clean of debris, soaked in a natural lime solution, and hung to dry. Once dry, they are hand woven, knitted, or crocheted into Ayaté squares. They only need to be soaked in water to activate their natural, powerful exfoliation.
